About the Course

Institute of Human Potential (IHP) coursework follows a three-month curriculum, delivered via a media-rich, password-controlled, custom-built educational and social networking platform. 

Daily lessons alternate between Text + Graphics interspersed with Audio Reflections followup days.  Curriculum is automatically delivered six days per week during enrollment, every day except Sunday.  Downloadable PDF documents are provided to allow you to save and review course materials at will. 

IHP's custom-built online home provides its international student body with the opportunity to become acquainted with each other and interact daily via a feature-rich Virtual Student Lounge environment, with the following functionality;

• An attractive and streamlined Forum for discussing curriculum
• Cumulative curriculum archives, available 24/7
• Student Profile pages (eg: personal photos, biography and activity links)
• Online Photo Albums for sharing digital photographs
• Private Messaging and Instant Messaging ("online chat")
• Academy "Latest Activity" screens and hyperlinks
• Periodic video sessions or live conference calls with Almine

Upon clicking the REGISTRATION icon, above, you'll be led to a registration form.  Depending upon when you register, you may or may not be prompted for tuition payment.  Once the tuition system is engaged (final week of October), you will be given the option of paying $299 full tuition or $100 monthly tuition.  Upon filling in basic information, you can then log in to our pre-registration platform; upload photos, complete your Profile information and review the biographies of other registered students.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Must one be a Spiritual Journeys "Pod alumni" to enroll in the IHP curriculum?

  No.

• Is it required to read any of Almine's books or complete other prerequisites before enrolling in the IHP curriculum?

  There are no formal course prerequisites.   However, we ask that students attempt to familiarize themselves with Spiritual Journeys materials beforehand; including Internet Broadcasts (podcasts) linked from SpiritualJourneys.com and other website materials and books linked there. 

• Is it necessary to take the Spiritual Journeys Institutes courses in any particular order?

  No.  They should be taken in whatever order feels natural for you.   Besides the Institute of Human Potential coursework, please also look into the curriculum of the Institute of Applied Mysticism and the Academy of Alchemy.

• Exactly how is the IHP coursework delivered?

  Coursework is delivered six days per week - every day except Sunday - for three months.  Daily curricula alternates between lessons involving text + graphics and audio reflections followup days.   This method is designed to enhance understanding and absorption of the written course materials.

• What is the purpose of the Virtual Student Lounge functionality?

  We have learned that many in our fast-growing Spiritual Journeys international family yearn to learn more about others attracted to Almine's materials, and share insights with and network among each other.   Our new Virtual Student Lounge functionality is designed to facilitate such interaction within a media-rich, user-friendly, password-controlled format.

• Will students retain access to the IHP coursework once the three-month curriculum period expires?

  Students will gain access to a new Institutes Alumni website shortly after graduating from the IHP curriculum, to enhance networking and idea-sharing among alumni.   Access to IHP coursework will remain available to students, using their Institute logins and password, for two weeks following completion of the three-month curriculum.

• How many hours per day are required for study?

  One hour per day should be adequate for text + graphics curriculum materials, while audio reflections recordings are always less than thirty minutes.  The amount of time you may want to spend online daily networking among your new IHP colleagues and friends, of course, will be additional to this. 

• When will the next IHP session begin?

  The next IHP session will begin November 1, '09.

• If a student doesn't log in for several days or as long as a week - for example, due to vacation plans - does that mean those days of lessons are lost?

  No.  All lessons are stored on the password-controlled IHP curriculum website as archives, accumulating as students advance through the curriculum.   For example, one month into the curriculum, all students have daily 24/7 access to all the lessons delivered to that point, etc.

• Does the IHP curriculum overlap with those for the other new Spiritual Journeys online Institutes (the Academy of Alchemy and the Institute of Applied Mysticism)?

  No.  Each Institute and Academy has a separate body of unique curricula.   This said, all of the materials conveyed by Almine on behalf of The Infinite do ultimately fit together within a larger, seamless whole.
